Who we are
This policy covers gilsonsigns.com, run by Gilson Signs, 10020 Prospect Ave., Suite B9, Santee, CA 92071. When we say “we” or “us,” we mean Gilson Signs.
What we collect
What you send us. When you call or email, you may give us your name, business name, phone number, email address, vehicle photos and measurements, logos, art files and the wording you want. We use this to quote and complete your job.
What every website gets. Our web host and Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the site, automatically log basic technical details such as your IP address, browser type, the page you visited and the date and time. This keeps the site running and secure.
Cookies. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set a small security cookie to tell real visitors from bots.
How we use it
- To answer your call or email and send you a quote and design samples.
- To make and install your signs, lettering or graphics.
- To keep basic business records, like invoices and taxes.
- To keep the website safe and working.
We don't use your information for ads, and we don't sell it.
Links to other websites
Our site links to Google, Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and map services. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this policy doesn't cover them.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we need it for your job, warranty questions and our business and tax records. After that, we delete it.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you can ask us to:
- Know what personal information we have about you and how we use it.
- Delete your personal information.
- Correct information that's wrong.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information. We don't sell or share it, so there's nothing to opt out of, but you can still ask.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We don't collect it.
We won't treat you differently for using these rights. Gilson Signs is a small business and may not be required to follow every part of the California Consumer Privacy Act, but we honor these rights for everyone.
California's “Shine the Light” law lets you ask whether we shared your information with other companies for their direct marketing. We don't.
How to make a request
Call or email us using the contact info below. We may ask a few questions to confirm it's really you. We'll answer within 45 days. You can also have someone you trust make the request for you.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We don't track you across other websites. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of selling or sharing, which we already don't do.
Children
This site is for business customers and isn't meant for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable steps to protect your information, including a secure (HTTPS) website. No website or email is 100% secure, so please don't email credit card numbers.

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
